Recent changes

Yeah I'm back from the dead. So what's new? My family of course. I sold my Rusi head to someone and I got a Soom Dia head instead. Yeah Dia you say? LOL Yeah. My story with him is that I first saw one on the now dead dutch forum "Sweet Addiction. He belongs to SoftPoison. Back then I wasn't a member of DOA and still fresh in the hobby (I still am right? lol) so I had no idea how popular the sculpt was. Not that it matters. At first glance I liked Benji's (Soom Dia) style a lot but just couldn't get into his face. There was something about that face I didn't like. Until I saw how the face ups devolped and after checking flickr. Yep I'd fallen for him. Especially the lips (I'm not pro-botox) but I can say in full honesty I perfere a doll with mushy lips. LOL They're not people for macaron's sake so who cares if they have huge eyes and big lips. It's so much more expressive.

To make a way too long story short: I got one from the MP on DOA. I originally could've gotten another head but the seller prefered to sell the full doll instead.

His face up is or was gorgeous,very professionally done but way too dark for my taste. I just felt him being out of place in my crew. Plus I always wanted to face up a Dia (in the one year I'm in the hobby loool) My idea is to make his lips lighter,his eyebrows thinner overal a more youthful appearance.

So that leaves me with one thing though: his body. 63cm is the way to go right? Not too masculine,I still gotta be able to get him some nice clothes without having to sweat putting them on.
He's yellowed quite a bit as he's from 2007. And has a nice rich yellowish tone,a bit diffrent from my Kiyoharu (Migidoll Jina)

Speaking of bodies, yesterday I sucessfully stringed both arms on the beyours body but when I tried to get the shoe lace out of the string the s-hook got detached and broke the resin hook on his hand. *Sigh*What's a person to do.

But Jonathan's getting a new body anyway so. From the company and not from the MP on DOA.
Not a Beyours body of course (I have a problem with the thin resin)

Last thing I wanted to talk about is Max. I hopelessly tried to give him a face up but failed.
I still think Ryu is the perfect sculpt for Max.

So first I won Rusi at the Carnival then I got my grail Soony and redcopper who was supposed to be Alexander but changed into Jonathan. I got all three of them. Sorry I didn't post the boxopening here.

But that's not all folks. I'm getting yep Jonathan a boyfriend. Maddy (HarleyQuinnBjd) recently put her Ryu up for sale and I was like ooh that's the pefect mold. Yep he is hopefully the last I'll be getting in a long while. Why,because of my wallet and well Yukari needs a body.

I actually have some updates on my boy. He arrived in Belgium a few days ago but as usual got stuck at customs. Nothing new. Maybe he'll stick there for a couple of days.

Today I'm on the 3rd waiting week for my Recopper from the Chinese company Beyours.
The news showed how awful the weather was in China so I hope it won't effect the waiting time too much. I didn't order him through the company directly but through Sunny's wonderful world.First time through a reseller. Also another doll I'm waiting on is a first: first second or lol third hand doll. Aaand my first holy grail. It's kinda silly since I've only been into BJDS for two years now xD

On a more personal note: -_-;; That says about enough.

Soony Sweetie

Today I send the payment for Soony.
I'm so excited. Especially since she'll get shipped from Holland which means it would only take a few days before she gets here. I hope customs won't hold her for too long after she's shipped.
Yay.

Bjds in the band

My bjds are in a band. And one of the things I want to accomplish in this hobby is to buy instruments for them and make photoshoots. I already wrote lyrics Just a bunch of gibberish,if you know Polysics you know what kinda of gibberish I mean. It's written like that on purpose. Music is art who cares about grammar. My grammar sucks. lol.

So you wanna know more right?

They have a quite a history. Changed their names several times and all.
Jamie's supposed to be the vocalist but I dunno. It would be kinda odd if my mini me could actually sing. LOL It just feels that way.


His looks's like Ryutarou meets I dunno Kyary (Yeah that sounds plain wrong)
Right now they are like I dunno a rock band (not pop) a real rock band.
They sound like I dunno:
Rin Tosite Sigure,9Goats Black out and Lillies and Remains with a dash of Plastic Tree and Coaltar of the Deepers. But they're also heavily influenced by midori and Shiina Ringo.

Name? malegarbage.
Don't ask me how I came up with the name,I just did.
Well the name has a meaning though; They don't try to be classy,or hip or mainstream.
The rawness of their music is what counts.

The songs that remind me the most of their image and sound:

But they have like the same raw guitar and vocal style of Rin Tosite Sigure.

Yellows my fellow nerdians.
I brought this blog back from the dead. Originally a oc blog now remade into a brand new blog about,guess what? Dolls!!!! Not another one? xD haha Get used to it pals and bros.

I suck at HTML chizz so yeah my layout's lame.

I'm kinda jealous of those kick ass blogs some people have.

It would be cool to have profiles of my dollies posted her as well. Or I could just make separate blogs for them. Which I did but I'm talking about profile/photo blogs.
